My name is Kelly.  I'm a 40 something year old married woman hailing from Fairfield, Maine.  I currently reside in Monterey, California with my loving husband and the two best doggies in the world.  

Ever since I could remember I've wanted to be an actress or a singer, but once you got to a certain age telling people that got you laughed at.  

"Okay, but what are you REALLY going to do when you grow up?"

I was told and soon learned that my dream was silly and I better pick another occupation.

But who ever says I want to work at a desk all day while I eye the clock and pray for 5 o'clock so you can leave?  I know lots of people that had the money to go to college and pursue their dreams and still wound up at a dead end desk job.  

At any rate, I put away my dreams and learned to forget.

Until six years ago.  Six years ago my world changed when my guitar playing husband answered a Craiglist ad for a local theater company that was in need of a guitarist for a play that they were going to be putting on over the Halloween season.

Somehow during the course of the meeting I got involved with being in the ensemble of the play and it became one of the most amazing experiences of my life!

The next year I did back to back shows and have had a love for theater in my heart ever since.  I have reduced the number of shows I do now but I still feel it in me and feel a dull ache when I'm not involved in a current project.

I do enjoy other things, I run half marathons, I crochet, I binge watch TV shows on the weekends, and the thing I enjoy most in the world is spending time with my husband Rob and our two little furbabies Shilo and Pappy.  That part of my world can be explored on my blog: www.cvkelz.com
